Two Sundays ago, I attended a corporate event with my husband and daughter. As I expected to spend some time outdoors, I put on some sunscreen.

Being a part time swim coach, I naturally would have three to four different types of sunscreens to use, depending on the sunny conditions and timing of day at the time when I am expected to be outdoors.

As I knew I would be attending a corporate event, I wanted a sunscreen to double up as a primer to look a little more “dressed up”. I chose to apply the Atomy Absolute Essence Sunscreen.

It is beige in color. Initially, I was reluctant to try it, as I was afraid it would stain my clothes. I was also afraid that its color may not match my own skin tone.

Applying it was easy. Its beige color helps to even out my skin tone. It works very well as a primer before I put on my makeup. It also gives my skin a natural glow.  My husband took a wefie and he was wowed by how radiant I looked.

In hot tropical weather conditions in Singapore, it is not uncommon to perspire even as one gets dressed before leaving the house. Wiping away the beads of perspiration on my face does not leave any stains on the tissue paper. This sunscreen does not stain my white face mask either. Therefore, you can be assured that you are not going to stain your favorite shirt when you wear this sunscreen.

I did some additional research. Sunscreens generally merely block the UVA and UVB rays from damaging our skin. Much to my delight, this Atomy sunscreen with SPF 50 does even more.

Besides blocking harmful UVA and UVB rays, this sunscreen also helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It also whitens and brightens the skin. It also targets melanin specifically, helping to reduce the appearance of brown spots such as freckles, age and sun spots. The Atomy Absolute Essence Sunscreen is certainly the best sunscreen for the face for me.
