Review of Belif Moisturizing Bomb and Aqua Bomb
From my article about my hydration face mask treatment which can be done at home, it is clear that I am a fan of Belif products. Part of this home mask treatment involves the use of Belif Moisturizing Bomb. This is one of the best face moisturizers for very dry, sensitive skin.
I first stumbled on Belif products when I was shopping at ION Orchard. Belif was just setting up shop in Singapore and staff was distributing samples in small sachets. I first received a sachet of their top selling product Aqua Bomb.
Fate has it that I decided to try the Aqua Bomb. I usually put samples aside and later discard them unused. The Aqua Bomb was great. It was light, smoothed easily over my skin and it was quickly absorbed. I used just a small amount. The small sample sachet was good for 3 applications.
After applying the Aqua Bomb, I went to bed. After just 2 hours of sleep, I was up to have breakfast with my husband and daughter. They both remarked that my skin looked radiant. They were surprised that I only had 2 hours of sleep and my skin still looked and felt extremely hydrated. My skin felt like it was full of water when I touched it – so smooth to the touch! I could not have been more pleased.
While most moisturizers, including those from reputable brands, may be rich, they also tend to just stay on the surface of my skin, making my skin feel oily and sticky. Aqua Bomb, on the other hand, absorbed quickly and my pores did not feel clogged.
That was when I decided to take a closer look at Belif products. To stretch the dollar, I decided to try something richer than the Aqua Bomb since I was already in my 40s at the time and my skin is in the mature skin category. The Moisturizing Bomb is a step up from the Aqua Bomb. One application of Moisturizing Bomb has moisturizing effects which last 24 hours. I now use it just once a day at night. In the morning, I only wash my face with water, followed by sunscreen before leaving the house.

Both the Aqua Bomb and Moisturizing Bomb are sold at the same price. They are also reasonably priced, given their top quality and paraben free ingredients. Each 50 ml jar sells for US$38 or about S$55. From time to time, they may have limited edition 100 ml jar size as well. You can be sure I will one of the first ones to grab the 100 ml jars when they are available!
I would recommend the Aqua Bomb for teenagers and young adults. The Aqua Bomb is probably one of the best face moisturizers for oily or normal skin. My teenage son and 20-something daughter use the Aqua Bomb. I would recommend the Moisturizing Bomb for older folks. These two products are also great face moisturizers for men too. Unfortunately, these two moisturizers do not come with SPF protection. Therefore don’t forget to apply sunscreen before going out.
